A change in NCAA rules for 2005-2006 allowed the Stanford Women to hold spring practices during April and May, and I was a fly on the wall for many of them. For everyone starved for news during the current drought leading up to 2006-2007, I offer the following in retrospect.
People think the daily practices are all business. Sometimes, though, they're actually a barrel of laughs. Especially when Tara is on the road recruiting.........

Strength workouts were REALLY relaxed
with Tara out of town.
Some players took the opportunity to
practice their modeling moves.

Dribbling with the feet was allowed.

Action on the floor was intense, but where's
the basketball?

Coaches demonstrated the fine points of the game.

Oops. Tara's back......
